Be carefull with shooting directly to the sun, dear Fira. It will create flare and over exposure (OE) as at your upper right corner. It might also ruin the CCD of your camera. You need to have a certain filter or try to avoid facing directly to the sun. On the other hand, I like this photo. golden sky and reflection, with silhouette of the pager and buildings. If I were you, I would rather wait until the ships has gone, to avoid being too crowded. By the way, Oom have a cute son, Reno, (see my gallery) I would ask him to bring you the orchid when we visit S'pore ;)) See ya.....

Hi, Probably next time you can get closer to the railing and take shot through the available space without being obstructed and be careful not to drop your camera in the river, Okay? The arrangement looks too crowded here. If you, of course if your mom allowed you, could wait for a moment, you can get better picture at the time when the lights of the building and street are in action. I know your situation, to take photograph against the sun is very difficult, as the sunlight is very strong your object will appear too dark contrasty to the bright sun. Anyway, you must be very happy to have a mom who is very helpful. Cheers...
