I think, not enough color contrast between the POI and the background, so that it's difficult to see the main subject of this photo immediately. IMHO.
It's too dark....the detail of the concept for the stairs and the people are not too focus.....a little bit zooming and lighter with the light will be better.....
nice composition.. but the black and white is a little lacking it needs a definite black and a definite white
Agree with alex ! ... would love to see the sitting budha instead.
Your took this photo a bit too far , so you lose some interestingth details
