Police block supreme court building from people who want to give their support to Indonesian House Speaker Akbar Tanjung as supreme court judges will read out their ruling for Tanjung's part in the misuse in 1999 of 40 billion rupiah (4,8 million USD), in Jakarta, 4 February 2004. Indonesia's highest court said Wednesday it had reached agreement about a top politician's appeal against a three-year jail sentence for corruption but would only announce its decision next week. A panel of Supreme Court judges met for two hours on Wednesday to decide on the appeal by parliament speaker Akbar Tanjung.
