2010 August
21st Apart from the pictures earlier in the month, very little 60D info has leaked out yet. If 50D experience is anything to go by, expect one or two well timed 'accidental' releases in the next few days.
19th Some compact cameras today - 60D likely next week.
18th 18MP, flip out screen, same processor as 7D, otherwise similar to 550D, price 999 Euros [EN French]
Lens rumours too.
17th No sign of any announcements... but an interesting new Canon patent on a wireless flash system and more suggested announcement dates on the main rumour page
16th There is a purported 60D review on youtube, but with no sound it doesn't actually advance knowledge of this rumoured camera very much at all :-)
14th Canon is sending out press invites worldwide for events on the 26th. I'd expect an announcement earlier that week, although Sony have announcements on the 24th [EL].
Whilst of no news to seasoned rumour watchers, it's worth pointing out that at this time of the year, forums are awash with comments that point to rumours based on collections of rumours, based on an original from somewhere like CR or here. Worst for this are some of the tech news aggregator sites which like to dress up snippets in their own wrappers. A good example of all of this is this DPR thread. There are some reports of a new 60D picture at Xinmin - this is just the old 60D with the number altered.
11th No announcement but 60D pictures are seen at a Japanese site [KK] A flip screen it is then...
