Terima Kasih buat admin atas space nya...........berikut ini saya lampirkan lensa2 yg suitable utk fotografi Infra Red dan lensa2 not suitable utk fotografi infra red.........

kebtulan saya hanya punya 3 lensa : fix 50mm, tokina 12-24, 18-55 dan pernah nyobain 17-40mm + 70-200 F4........belum pernah nyobain lensa selain dari yang diatas.........mohon masukan dari temen2 sebagai pengguna kamera IR oprek maupun pengguna filter IR tentang pengalamannya thd penggunaan lensa yg ada di list ini...............oya sumber dari list ini adalah : http://photonius.wikispaces.com/hotspot+lenses

Here is a list of lenses suitable or unsuitable for IR photography compiled from various discussion forums.
Note there are conflicting reports for some lenses. There may be a number of different reasons for this: the hot spot is not strong in some instances, lens coatings have changed over time, the hot spot may depend on aperture, flare etc. is confused with a hot spot, the transmission curve of the IR filter used, the camera body used (if some hot spots are due to reflections from the sensor/sensor filter, different cameras could produce different results).

Note: some of these lenses may produce a hot spot at small apertures.
[1] reported as usable from 14/15mm onwards, below flare/noise, in own test works fine with 400D and f4 - f5.6
[2] This is also reported to have a hotspot.
[3] usable up to f/8.
[4] may produce hotspots.
[5] 17mm sample has Tungsten WB. The lens will produce flare reflections against strong lights (also in normal light).
† tested myself using Canon 400D.
