National Geographic announces winners of global photography contest 2011

WASHINGTON —Shikhei Goh of Indonesia is the winner of the 2011 National Geographic Photography Contest. Goh will have his winning image of a dragonfly bracing for a big splash published in worldwide editions of National Geographic magazine. In addition, he will receive $10,000 (USD) and a trip to National Geographic headquarters in Washington, D.C., to participate in the annual National Geographic Photography Seminar in January 2012. More than 20,000 photographs were submitted to the contest from over 130 countries, with both professional photographers and amateur photo enthusiasts participating. Photographs were submitted in three categories: people, places and nature.

Sebagai rekan sesama hunting dan rekan ngopi, saya terharu dan bangga......Shi Khei bisa mengalahkan puluhan ribu foto dari penjuru dunia dan menyabet juara umum di Nat Geo. sebuah prestasi yang luar biasa.........
